SKÅNE ZOO

Skånes Djurpark is a zoo located outside Höör in the middle of Skåne. The zoo is the world’s largest zoo with Nordic animals. It keeps only wild species that live or have lived in the wild in the Nordic countries, including wild boar, elk, bear, grey seal, lynx, wolverine and domestic animals of old Nordic landraces.

In total, the zoo has animals of about 70 different species. Every year, the 100-hectare park is visited by around 200,000 people. Skåne Zoo is a member of the Swedish Zoo Association and the European Zoo Association EAZA. (wikipedia)
