Can you fish in the nearby lakes?
Yes, fishing is allowed in the surrounding lakes, including Långasjön and Kroksjösjöarna.
To fish, you need a valid fishing license, which you can buy online at www.ifiske.se.
You can rent a boat at the reception or book in advance via our website or app.

How do I get a fishing license?
We do not sell fishing licenses at the reception. You can easily buy it online at www.ifiske.se.
– For lake Långasjön, select Södra Mieåns in Blekinge län.
– For Kroksjönsjöarna, select Karlshamn municipality in Blekinge county.
After paying online, you will receive a confirmation by text message and email.
Please note that we are not responsible for the fishing license itself.
Questions about changing a fishing license or the information on it should be directed to iFiske.
Can I book a fishing guide?
Yes, fishing guides are available for Lake Långasjön and can be booked directly through PexFish.

Mieån (Blue fishing license – Natural water)
Area: From Jannebergs kvarn north to Getabron in Norrefors
Included lakes: Långasjön, Byasjön, Bruksgylet, Brogylet, Skärsjön, Rudegyl, Björkesjön
Fishing allowed: Year-round, 24 hours a day. Ice fishing is allowed.
Fish species: Pike, perch, zander, lake trout, brook trout, etc.
Catch limits:
Maximum 2 salmonids per day
Maximum 2 pike per day (only 45-60 cm may be kept)
Max 8 pike per month (annual pass only)
Gear: spinning, reeling, fly or crankbait. Only one haul per fisherman.
Bait: Only allowed for bait or ice fishing
Ice fishing: Maximum 1 ice fishing rod + 10 fishing rods per person
Kroksjöarna (Red fishing license)
Area: Stora Kroksjön, Lilla Kroksjön, Kroksjögyl, Lindeborgssjön
Fishing allowed: All year round, 06.00-22.00. Ice fishing is allowed.
Fish species: Rainbow trout, pike, perch
Catch limit: Maximum 2 salmonids per day
Gear: Same rules as for Mieån. Bait is allowed for angling and ice fishing
🎣 Södra Mieån (Yellow fishing license)
Area: From the bridge at Stadsportsgatan to Janneberg (Mieådalens ridhus)
Fishing allowed: From the first Saturday in February to September 30, 06.00-22.00
Fish species: Sea trout, rainbow trout, pike, perch
Catch limit: Maximum 2 salmonids per day
Gear: Spinning, reeling or fly rods only. Bait and lures not allowed
From Stadsportsgatan to the sea (Free fishing)
Area: From the bridge at Stadsportsgatan to the harbor
Fishing allowed: Year round, 06.00-22.00. Ice fishing not allowed
Fish species: Id, roach, pike, perch
Rule: Salmonid fish must be released immediately (except whitefish)
General fishing rules (All areas)
Fishing from your own boat is prohibited
Boats can be rented at the kiosk at Långasjönäs Camping
Fishing from a floating ring is allowed
Minimum dimensions:
Salmon and sea trout: 50 cm
Lake trout: 30 cm
The fishing license is personal and non-transferable
Children and young people under the age of 16 can fish for free according to current rules when accompanied by a parent or guardian
Catch reporting:
Yellow area: report at Mieådalens ridhus or on iFiske.se
Other areas: reporting is done on iFiske.se
Violation of the rules may lead to the withdrawal of the fishing license – no refund given
