Are dogs allowed on the beach?

Dogs are welcome at Tallens Hundbad, where there is a parking lot, barbecue facilities and shared toilets. Dogs are not allowed on the large beach area and must be kept on a leash at all times, both at the beach and inside the camping area.

Remember that you are responsible for your dog.

Where can I buy stamps?

You can buy stamps at reception – both for domestic and international mail.

I have sent an email but have not received a reply. What can I do?

Your email may have been caught in our spam filter.
We recommend that you call the reception directly on +46 454 32 06 91 for assistance.

We try to reply to booking-related emails within 48 hours.
Non-booking questions will be answered as soon as possible, but it may take longer than 48 hours.

Can I go to a grocery store?

The nearest grocery store is located in Asarum, about 3.7 km from the campsite.
We recommend taking a bike or car, as there is no public transportation to or from the campsite.

How should I recycle my waste at the campsite?

At Långasjönäs Camping we follow Karlshamn municipality’s rules for waste sorting according to VMAB. We ask all guests to sort their waste as follows:

– Food waste – put in brown bags

– Plastic packaging – soft and hard plastic packaging

– Metal packaging – e.g. cans, caps, aluminum foil

– Paper packaging – cartons, milk cartons, egg cartons

– Glass packaging – colored and uncolored glass are sorted separately

– Residual waste – e.g. diapers, envelopes and other non-recyclable items

– Hazardous waste – batteries, electrical waste, chemicals are left at the recycling center

📍All our recycling stations are clearly signposted. Please ask at reception if you are unsure.

Where do I turn if I have a problem with my motorhome, caravan or car?

If you experience technical problems with your motorhome, caravan or car, you should contact your insurance company in the first instance, as they are best placed to help you.

Please note that reception staff cannot contact your insurance company for you, so please do not ask us to call or email them.

If you don’t have insurance, you can contact a local towing company that can take your vehicle to the nearest garage.

I have no electricity in my motorhome or caravan - what could be wrong?

Here are some things you can check before contacting the reception:

Is the fuse switched on?

Have you tested with a different power cable?

Have you ever tried to charge a mobile phone in the socket?

If you can charge a phone, the fault is probably not in the cable or the power pole, but may be an internal electrical fault in your motorhome or caravan.
