RENOVATION, REPAIRS & NEW CONSTRUCTION - WHAT APPLIES?

Upgrading your cottage is entirely voluntary – but there are many benefits both financially and in terms of experience. Renovation or new construction can also increase rental income.

The choice is yours – but here’s why it pays off:

  • Higher rental income: Standard increase = more bookings + higher price

  • Increased value: Renovated cottage is more attractive in future sales

  • More comfort: Your own stay will be more pleasant and functional

  • Year-round rentals: For some cottages, renovation allows winter rentals

Different types of measures:

Interior renovation – full freedom!

  • New floor plan, kitchen, bathroom, interior

  • Example: Model cabin S13 shows what’s possible

  • Inspiration and drawings are available

Exterior renovation – rules apply!

  • All cottages in North & South Cottage Village to keep common look

  • E.g. color, facade, terrace must follow approved drawings

  • Only approved craftsmen may be used for certain work

Building new? It’s entirely possible!

  • Building permit available until 2026

  • Example cabin N01 shows what a new build can look like

  • You can use our drawings or create your own

  • We provide advice and management of the construction process

Do you want to increase your rental income?

Renovate according to our guidelines and get:

  • 55% for major exterior improvements

  • 60% for full interior + exterior renovation

  • 65% for newly built cottages
